ADHD is NOT a super power and those selfies that celebrate that ADHD test result. Ugh!

In this episode of "Business Strategy For Weenie ADHD-preneurs" we're exploring the balance between darkness and light with ADHD

It's great that more and more people are becoming aware of ADHD and seeking diagnoses, but sometimes the way people celebrate their diagnoses can be really irritating and triggering for those of us who have grown up with ADHD.

There is a light and dark side to ADHD, and it's important that we talk about both sides!

So if you're celebrating your ADHD diagnosis like it's some kind of super power, please stop and think about how your behavior might be affecting those of us who are still struggling.

I understand there's a personal journey and their story is not the same as mine, but sometimes it takes a lifetime to come to terms with a diagnosis and get the right support for you.

Those ADHD women test and then share their results in a selfie as if it's something unique and worthy of massive celebration.

And it's not the right way to go about it.

Let's talk more openly about both sides of ADHD: the light, and the dark.

Let's own our experiences and use them to grow together.

That would be much more helpful than cheerleading ADHD like some kind of superpower!

It's time for us all to do better when discussing ADHD test results.

Let's have meaningful conversations that focus on growth, understanding, and respect for each other.

We're not superheroes - we are just humans trying our best !

Let's support each other in understanding and accepting our ADHD diagnosis.

Only then can we truly begin to move forward together.

By weaving our stories with compassion, respect, acknowledgement, empathy and solidarity, we can help one another understand our unique journey of being an entrepreneur - no matter what the ADHD test may say.
